ITINERARY

Day One
Upon your arrival in Auckland your tour guides who will transport you to the Gulf Harbour Country Club will greet you. This exclusive club includes a restaurant, library, squash courts, billiard room, swimming pool and gym, as well as golf pro tuition. The evening will include dinner with your fellow golfers and introductory drinks to kick start the tour.

Day Two
Today is the start of your New Zealand golfing experience. After breakfast, feel free to fine-tune your game on the nearby golf range before a late morning tee off.

The Gulf Harbour Country Club course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, arguably the world's finest designer of classic golf courses, and is set against the spectacular backdrop of the Hauraki Gulf.

Day Three
Today we have a mid morning check out time and leave the Hibiscus Coast for our next destination, the incredibly picturesque Bay Of Islands. Have your cameras ready as this area has spectacular scenery in all directions..

On our way to the Bay Of Islands we will visit the famous Matakohe Kauri and Pioneer Museum, where examples of beautifully polished kauri gum are on display.

This afternoon we check into the Copthorne Resort, Waitangi. It is close to the historical National Treaty house, surrounded by bush walks, an international golf course, and the beautiful Bay of Islands harbour - known for some of the best big game fishing in the world!

Day Four
Prepare for an early morning tee off time at the Waitangi Golf Club. The Waitangi course not only provides an exciting and ever changing challenge, but also the most tremendous panorama views over Waitangi and Opua.

This afternoon we will explore this magnificent area, either by taking a trip over to historic Russell, or a cruise around the many islands to see Cape Brett and the famous Hole in the Rock.

Day Five
Today you have the option of partaking in a full day Cape Reinga tour, designed for those who wish to spend time enjoying the magnificent natural wonders of the North. The grandeur of the mighty Kauri trees, the expanse of Ninety Mile Beach and the mystique of Cape Reinga will stun you. Your guide's local knowledge and informative commentary will make this trip one to remember.

If a more peaceful day is what you desire, feel free to spend the day at your leisure. Maybe find a beach area to relax in for a couple of hours, or perhaps take a trip to Kerikeri with one of our tour guides.

This evening we leave Waitangi for our next golfing destination, Kauri Cliffs.

Day Six
Today you play the incomparable Kauri Cliffs. There are very few lodges and golf courses in NZ that can boast accolades equal to this: "Best New International Golf Course" - Golf Digest USA Dec 2001; "The World's Ultimate Day of Golf" - Linkside Journal USA Jan 2002; "Conde Nast Traveler Hotlist - The best 52 hotels in the world" - Conde Nast Traveler May 2002 just to name a few!

Unsurpassed views, 18 holes of stunning cliff top championship golf, its own Kauri forest, a pink beach, stud farm, and the ultimate luxury lodge and bungalows. Kauri Cliffs was designed and built by David Harman of Golf Course Consultants, Orlando, Florida. The par 72 championship golf course measures 7,119 yards/ 6,510 metres and offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level. Fifteen holes view the Pacific Ocean, six of which are played alongside cliffs which plunge to the sea. The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland.

Day Seven
Today we leave Kauri Cliffs and the beautiful Bay of Islands for another of New Zealand's most amazing coastal regions, The Coromandel. With sparkling azure blue waters, white sandy beaches, tree lined coastal roads and secluded bays just waiting to be explored. The Coromandel is one of those special places - breathtaking and unforgettable. We will make a stop at the unique thermal 'Hot Water Beach' with hot water bubbling up from springs deep in the earth. Tonight we check into one of New Zealand's newest high quality golf courses, The Lakes Resort.

Day Eight
Today we play Lakes Resort in Pauanui. This is the result of an individual focus to create a golf course, which would be private and uninterrupted. Set in a visually stunning valley with an abundance of wildlife and wetlands, is a fantastic setting for a challenging course.

This evening we will embark on a guided tour around some of the many remote and idyllic beaches of the area. There will be ample opportunity to take photos of the breathtaking views, before we leave the Coromandel for our final destination.

Day Nine
Our last round of golf is played today. The Formosa Golf Resort has been developed as an international PGA standard, 18-hole golf course and resort facility at Beachlands in Auckland. It is listed in "The Finest Golf Clubs of the World" and was the venue for the 1998 New Zealand Open.

This evening is the grand finale where we can reflect on the past week, while cruising the scenic harbours of the "City of Sails". Your last night will include presentations and entertainment and one last chance to remember your magical experience in Aotearoa.

Day Ten
Today we bid farewell; check out time is 11am. Enjoy your onward journey.
